Jan 6, 2007 12:43 ET | This brawl is on youtube. It's started when the three Mission's fowards gave shots to Thetford Mines. It's like in Slapshot (the movie), when in the last game of the movie, Tim McCraken and all the Syracuse Bulldogs gave cheapshots to the Charlestown Chiefs.

Feb 26, 2007 22:04 ET | I've been finding this video all over the net for the last 2 years, now. It was a 'global' mismatch, for sure. Any idea what sparked it? Why did the Sorel coach decide to send 3 enforcers against a line of much smaller players?
The Machine Mayrand didn't weigh as much as 258, back then, but he was a force to be reckoned with, one of the top 5 in the league along with Theriault, Varhaug, Gaetz and... Brashear (in my opinion)! Verdun had a team in the LNAH, then, so I caught a few matches... (I live in Montreal.) It seems a bit out of character for Dean the Machine to attack a non-brawler like that. I can't say as much for Brunel, though... I'm really wondering which incident led to all this, apart from the fact that Sorel was losing the game (the series too? Ah, maybe that's it. A 'Ron Hextall' congratulatory gesture!)
The main commentator really seemed to enjoy what was going on! At one point he sounds like he's having an orgasm!!
