Your prediction earns points when you got the score right. no.7 Aug 15, 2013 08:57 ET | A new points system will be introduced for the 2013-2014 season. The old system didn't take into account exactly how likely each scoreline was in the current NHL. After analyzing the NHL score distribution over the last 6 years, we came up with the new system. If you get the score right, here's the points that you get:
If you get the score wrong but still get the winning team right then you get 1 point. If you also get the goal difference correctly, you will also get the following bonus:
Sure thing predictions earn double the normal score and Desperado predictions - treble the normal score. Examples Predicted score: 3-6, actual 3-6. 38 points.Predicted score: 3-6, actual 1-4. 3 points. Predicted score: 3-6, actual 3-5. 1 point. Predicted score: 3-6, actual 6-3. 0 points. Predicted score: 8-1, actual 8-1. 250 points. Predicted score: 8-1, actual 7-0. 56 points. Predicted score: 8-1, actual 9-1. 1 point. | Reply |
