Jason Hamilton clear win Fun
6
These two guys had an incredible stick fight in the penalty boxes a month back and they settled their things early on in this game squarring off away from the play. They had a long square-off shadow boxing. Gaetz grabbed Hamilton as Hamilton landed a right and missed with one. Gaetz quickly pulled Hamilton's jersey over his head. Hamilton's jersey came back on his shoulder so they can continue the fight with Hamilton coming away armless. They wrestled for a while with Hamilton landing a short right. Gaetz missed with a right as Hamilton answered right back with three rights on his own. Gaetz switched to the left and missed with a few. Hamilton landed three good rights on Gaetz. He landed another solid right as Gaetz came up empty. Gaetz was clearly out of gas as Hamilton kept on firing rights to the body. He tried a few more shots to the body with no answer from Gaetz. Hamilton landed at least 10 body punches and a few more to the back of Gaetz's head before an hopeless opponent. The linesmen came in and Gaetz went to the penalty with a bloody nose.

Ryan Pisiak clear win Fun
5
On the very next faceoff, the two tough guys decided to drop the gloves. Pisiak quickly went to Richard as Richard missed with a right and landed a right to the body. Pisiak pulled Richard's jersey up over his head and fired with lefts. He fed him with at least a dozen left hands until Richard's jersey came off completely. Richard got rid off his jersey and just missed with a right haymaker. Pisiak lost balance and fell face first on the ice. On the video, it seems that the last Richard punch landed but looking carefully and we see that it don't.

Boily hit another Thetford player into the boards and Laniuk came in instigating the fight with Boily. Laniuk landed two rights on Boily and tried to remove his helmet. They wrestled along the boards with the smaller Laniuk trying to land some rights on Boily. Boily had his right hand free and landed a solid shot on Laniuk. They wrestled near the boards with Boily dropping Laniuk to the ground.

Away from the play, they already started the fight with their helmets already on the ice. Beliveau missed with a right but landed a solid right afterwards. Boily missed with four straight rights. Beliveau answered with a solid right again. Beliveau missed with a couple rights and lost balance. Boily missed with two shots as they were on their knees. Boily tried a few more rights even after the linesmen arrival.

Richard cross-checks Poulin to the head after Brashear pushes Poulin away. They move to the boards and wrestle in the ice, Richard on top. Refs get them separated and Poulin looks injured, because he stays lying on the ice. Referee signals that doctor is needed, but same time benches start emptying. Emotion

I think that everybody apart from Richard got some sort of fighting penalty. LNAH boxscores have all sorts of complicated penalties which are often difficult to decipher.

It was probably a bench clearance because Pisiak got a penalty for being first off the bench, but impossible to tell for sure without seeing what happened.

Donald Brashear win by KO Fun

I have spoken to Glenn personally about this incident and he told me that he did not butt Brashear. It was Brashear's style of tug and pull that made the video look like Kjernisted threw the head butt. I even apologized to Glenn because I wrote on another site that he threw the head butt and he should be prepared for the consequences. After watching more clips of Brashear I realized it was indeed his style and not a head butt.

Things start off with Brashear and Kjernisted with the gloves dropped in the neutral zone. Brashear starts throwing punches and then Kjernisted falls down to the ice, but gets up immediately. Kjernisted lands a right hand and misses with a couple more. Both players are in tight together so Brashear tugs and pulls Kjernisted which looks like a Kjernisted head butt. Brashear then lands a punch which causes Kjernisted to loose his balance and fall to the ice. Now Brashear gets on top of Kjernisted and lands six, hard left hands to a grounded Kjernisted. A linesman comes over to try and stop the massacre, but Brashear isn't done yet and throws some more left hands to a downed Kjernisted.

The benches clear and players are coming off from both sides. Brashear is restrained by an official and Glenn has trouble standing, but finally rises up to clear the cobwebs. I was surprised that Glenn actually got up from that beating instead of being carried out on a stretcher. I give Glenn a lot of credit for that.

In my opinion Brashear was a total asshole for doing this. Kjernisted was hurt bad and Brashear continued to pound away with no remorse. Glenn didn't deserve this beating that Brashear handed out and I think Brashear didn't care because it was a lockout year for the NHL and he didn't care what the consequences were. Anyway, Brashear wins this fight by KO.

Brashear and Kjernisted start talking and drop the gloves, they look like they are about to fight, but Hugo Poulin comes in and tries to get at Brashear first. Brashear pushes him away and another Radio X player comes in and cross checks Poulin to the head, Poulin goes down hurt.

Brashear and Kjernisted then remove their helmets before they come together, Brashear gets his left arm free and starts to land some heavy punches. Kjernisted then falls to the ice with Brashear landing on top, and Brashear starts to pound away on the grounded Kjernisted. Kjernisted is taking an awful beating and one lino comes in to stop Brashear, but Kjernisted holds onto Brashear's jersey so Brashear lands another big left on the grounded fighter, the lino tries his best to get Brashear off Kjernisted but Brashear starts throwing more lefts. So players start leaving the Thertford bench to help there guy, this starts the bench clearing brawl.

The trainers come onto the ice to help Kjernisted who has trouble skating to the bench.

This is a KO victory for Brashear as he knock Kjernisted to the ice and has him in serious trouble. There was rumour that Kjernisted head butted Brashear near the start of the fight, but its not clear on the video so I have not added it as fact.

They square off in a brawl. Brashear comes in with rights and lefts and drops Kjernisted. Kjernisted gets up and grabs on and tries to throw some punches. Brashear though has Kjernisted arms tied up which stopped any of his attempted punches to land. Brashear then let loose with some big time over hand rights and lefts and dropped Kjernisted. Brashear fell over top of him and sat up on him and just started dropping bombs on Kjernisted. Just one after another as Kjernisted was laying back on the ice just eating the punches. The linesmen came in Brashear stood up and Kjernisted was still down but had a hold of Brashear with one arm. Brashear nailed him with some more big punches while he stood over him then he fell back on top and began pounding on Kjernisted more as the linesmen tried to drag Brashear off. Finally when Brashear was taken off Kjernisted who was seeing stars the benches, cleared.

Probably the worst beating ever given out in professional hockey. Brashear just whaled on Kjernisted. I believe Brashear was kicked out of the LNAH for this fight. Decisive as it can get.

They square-off at blue line. Thetford #39 Hugo Poulin trys to get Brashear instead of Kjernisted, but #97 Chad Richard comes and pushes him away.
Brashear gives a few and drops Kjernisted 1st time. Kjernisted gets up and throws few rights. They wrestle a bit and Brashear drops Kjernisted 2nd time.
Brashear is on top and he beats Kjernisted with unfair lefts. Referee skates there and Brashear stops beating and gets up. Kjernisted trys to get up as well, but Brashear gives him an unnecessary punch with his left.
Kjernisted hangs on Brashear's jersey and Brashear goes on top and gives him another unnecessary big left. Kjernisted's head hits maybe to ice. Referee gets them separated and same time benches are cleared.
Kjernisted gets up, but his skating is wobbly. He then maybe falls to the ice and stays there unconscious and trainers are helping him.

When they square off some guy on Kjernisted's team tries to get Brashear but Chad Richard cross checked him in the face. After that they start throwing punches. Kjernisted gets KO'ed and tries to grab Brashear's leg to get back up. Brashear then pounds him some more. Brashear didn't need to do the damage he did. After he KO'ed him he shouldn't off beat him some more he should of just skated away.

Brash gets Kjernisted down to the ice and continues the assualt landing about 6 hard punches Not sure what took so long for teammates or linesman to get in there and help Kjernisted. Brashear was angry about something and took it out on Kjernisted. KO Win Brashear.

Right on... Cheap stuff from both sides, but one is cheaper than the other as dictated by the length of suspensions for the respective actions. Glad that guy wasn't seriously hurt. I liked Brashear and thought he was unjustly ripped by many for a variety of reasons, but this incident, plus this past NHL year, I lost respect. Still, one of my favorites to watch.Reply

Really? Then can you explain why in an interview a weel after the game, why the player himself admitted that he butted Brashear? Look, I'm not a Brashear fan, as he taunts other teams too much and brings a lot of hatred on himself. I remember his interview where he talked about always besting McSorley, and then skating by the Boston bench and trying to taunt them to "get them off their game." Now I agree with Brash's conclusion that taunting doesnt merit the vicious assault McSorley perpetrated on him, but I'm also a fan of people who are humble and respectful. Brash is neither on the ice, but seems to be off, as is the case with many NHL pugilists. That league is likened to the WWE where outrageous incidents are almost expected, which is why Brashear's expulsion was recinded and made into a 3 week suspension.Reply

Same time when Brashear gets his gloves off, Poulin comes there. They rough up a bit and Brashear pushes him away, because he wants to fight with Kjernisted.

#34 Byers is standing at boards and watching Richard vs Poulin wrestling in the ice. Unknown Thetford player skates there and grabs Byers. They start at same time as Brashear and Kjernisted grab after their square-off.
Hands are keeped locked at first, but then Thetford player gets his right free and throws a few. It seems then that he trips Byers and gets the advantage because of it. He doesn't do the same what Brashear just did, but lets Byers to get up. Benches start emptying and they move to the boards far away from other players while holding each other.
