| Shane O'Brien steps up at the blueline and plants Evander Kane with a nice hit. Kane doesn't like it though and goes back after O'Brien. They shed the mitts prior to coming together and Kane drives O'Brien into the boards. O'Brien loses his balance and drops to the ice underneath Kane and they jostle. A linesman comes in to break it up but then Kane throws a couple of rights, landing one to the body. Kane pauses for a moment but the lands a couple rights on O'Brien before another linesmen gets there and grabs hold of Kane. Extremely bad fight with the only punches thrown after they went to the ice. |

| Cody McLeod just clips Bryan Little while trying to stay onside and Chris Thorburn doesn't like the collision and goes after McLeod. They drop the gloves and grab onto each other. McLeod misses a right and then switches hands as Thorburn misses a right. McLeod lands a left before Thorburn misses a right and McLeod switches hands. McLeod misses a right and then again switches hands while Thorburn lands a right. Thorburn then lands another right as McLeod misses a left and then gets in tight. Thorburn throws two rights and connects with one and then they pause. Thorburn lands a right and they wrestle a little before Thorburn throws two rights, landing one. They pause again and McLeod switches hands and misses a right before Thorburn misses a right. McLeod stumbles and attempts to trip up Thorburn by grabbing his leg but Thorburn stays up. They wrestle and Thorburn misses a right before McLeod switches hands. McLeod lands a left as Thorburn tries to block and McLeod's elbow pad comes off. McLeod switches hands and connects with a right but Thorburn then throws four rights back, landing two. They pause and McLeod works his right out of his jersey while in a Thorburn headlock. The linesmen start to move in but McLeod misses two rights before being restrained and the fight is ended there. A pretty good tilt between these two tough guys. Thorburn had a small cut reopened on his cheek after the fight while McLeod also had a minor nick in the same area. Thorburn landed more punches and also had more control of the fight. | Both were throwing like they meant it until Thorburn gets cut below his left eye and he clearly becomes vary of any more punches and he ties McLeod up who is still coming on. When the linesmen don't immediately intervene Throrburn after a right from McLeod responds with a flurry of rights and then gestures towards the refs to come over and end it. I'd call this a draw if Thorburn hadn't pussed out like that cuz McLeod was a little cut too but that didn't stop him from going on so the edge goes to McLeod in this otherwise nice fight. |

| Decent fight. Thorburn outthrew and outlanded McLeod, edge Thorburn. Both guys cut, Thorburn more but looked like he already had a cut that was reopened. |

Bodies start flying all over the place and Thorburn and McCleod decide to go at it McCleod lands a good early right that cuts Thornburn under the left eye. Chris comes back hard and lands some bombs of his own. He thinks it's over as the linsemen are coming in. Then McCleod throws in a final shot, so Thorburn gets upset and fires a massive flurry of rights that appear to land well. Cody emerges, also bleeding from the forehead.
I have to give this one to Chris Thorburn on points. He landed the most punches and controlled the pace of the fight. |

| Body-checks seemed to be the theme in this game and just after Mcleod body-checks # 18 of the Jets, Thorburn doesn't like it. Thorburn gets together and dances with McLeod for 2 seconds in open-ice and then punches are launched. Totals are : Thorburn had 5 facial-punches while Mcleod had 3 facial-punches. A couple of missed-swings by both guys. McLeod wanted to continue the fight but the refs intervene. Both guys had minor abrasions by their eye-area.Thorburn in a narrow win. |
