| It is the Battle of Quebec, the Montreal Canadiens versus the Quebec Nordiques and heavyweights Gord Donnelley and Chris Nilan shed the gloves by the Nordiques' net. They get in close immediately and Donnelly throws six lefts, connecting with four. Nilan stands back and misses two rights, also losing his helmet. Donnelly misses a left and Nilan misses a left. Donnelly throws two lefts and lands one, then misses a left as Nilan lands a left. Nilan gets in close and Donnelly misses a left. Nilan changes hands and stands back while Donnelly throws two lefts, landing one. Then Nilan lands a right that knocks off Donnelly's helmet and Donnelly gets in close. Nilan changes hands and misses a left, Donnelly misses a left, then Nilan connects on a left. Donnelly then misses a left and Nilan misses a left and gets jerseyed. Donnelly misses two lefts and the linesmen come in and split them up. Edge Donnelly, fairly decent fight. |

| Not a bad fight. Donnelly threw and landed more, definitely got the edge in this one. Linesmen stepped in when Nilan had jersey over his head. |

| In the same period, Chris Nilan and Gord Donnelly drop the mitts behind the Quebec Nordiques' net. They get a grip of the other and start to grapple. Nilan lands two lefts and they stay in relatively tight with each other. Donnelly misses a left then they start to wrestle and Donnelly gets off Nilan's helmet. Nilan then switches hands and they open up. Nilan misses a right while Donnelly connects with a left. Nilan then misses a right as Donnelly misses a left and they get back in tight. Donnelly misses a left and Nilan switches hands while they wrestle. Nilan throws three lefts and lands one. Donnelly misses a left and then gets wrestled down by Nilan. Not all that bad of a fight but definitely on the dull side. Slight edge for Nilan, he landed more and better than Donnelly. |

| Round 2 but it was clearly not as good as their first fight. Mostly wrestling this time, both appeared to land a couple shots but nothing significant, I don't see a winner in this one. |
