| Jay Miller and Chris Nilan get together among a crowd of players and lose the mitts. They're in close immediately and Miller throws two lefts with one landing to the body before pausing. Miller throws another three lefts and lands one to the helmet and then Nilan opens up. Miller switches hands and has a good but very short exchange with Nilan. They each throw three rights, Nilan landing all of his while Miller only lands one. They pause as Miller switches hands and then resume exchanging. This one is good as well and lasts a short while longer. Nilan throws six rights and lands three while Miller throws seven lefts and lands four. They pause again and Nilan moves back in close on Miller. Miller switches hands and throws three rights with two connecting to the face. Nilan opens up and again exchanges with Miller. The exchange isn't too bad and is fairly short. Miller misses four rights while Nilan throws two rights and lands one. Miller switches hands and misses a left as Nilan gets in close and Miller switches hands yet again. Miller throws three rights and connects on two to the helmet. Miller switches hands and they both open up at the same time, Nilan throwing two rights and landing one while Miller lands two lefts. They get in close and Miller switches hands, missing a right afterwards. They start to wrestle and the linesmen move in and work no splitting up the two tough guys. A good tilt between Nilan and Miller. Neither guy really got much of an upper hand. Miller was more active but not by a whole lot. |

| Nilan gets a good right hand in, and follows with another off Miller's helmet. Good sequence where they are both punching at the same time, with nothing connecting. Miller finds two good rights, and they get tied up. Nilan tries an uppercut that just misses, and the refs are able to get in. Solid fight. |

michiann 3444 fight reviews Jul 6, 2012 07:08 ET | Chris Nilan narrow win | Fun N/A |
| Tussling within a mob of players shows Miller & Nilan seeking one another out. They lock horns and I feel that Nilan edged out Miller in quantity & quality of facial-punches when totaling everything up. Nilan had 7 facial-punches and most of those were flush-on the face of Miller. Miller had 6 facial-punches but some of these are construed in the marginal sense, for instance, one punch hits part of the forehead of Nilan while also striking the helmet. I believe this fight is a narrow win for Nilan ... and if anybody disagrees, we can discuss it. |
