Chris Nilan clear win Fun

A gathering of players occurs and Chris Nilan gets into it with Ed Hospodar. They jostle with each other and Nilan drops the gloves. Hospodar decides against dropping them as Nilan grabs on with the left and starts swinging. Nilan nails Hospodar with three rights then Hospodar loses his balance and falls down amongst the crowd. Hospodar then drops his gloves, grabs onto Nilan, and gets up, all while Nilan stays inactive. They stand back and Nilan gets his right free from Hospodar's hold. Nilan lets fly five rights and scores with four of them. Nilan takes a pause and then rifles two more rights with one that catches Hospodar who just hangs on and stays idle. Nilan loses his helmet but then fires six rights and hits Hospodar with three. Hospodar then gets Nilan's head down and come in and separate the two. Really one-sided fight. Nilan just hammered away on Hospodar throughout the fight. The majority of the volleys Nilan threw didn't miss the mark. Hospodar didn't drop the gloves at first and ended up falling down. Nilan stopped throwing and that allowed Hospodar to drop the gloves and get back up. Despite that, Hospodar never threw a punch, just held on, and took what punches Nilan was able to get in.

It took a while for Hospodar to drop his gloves as Nilan was already hammering him. He did drop the gloves but just held on and didn't throw anything while Nilan continued throwing punches. One sided fight.

Chris Nilan VS Ed Hospodar January 6th / 1988

A scrum is developing on the ice and Chris Nilan already has his gloves off and is throwing some wild punches to the face of Hospodar who didn't even look ready nor prepared for the attack. Hospodar still has the gloves on a few seconds into the fight with Chris Nilan firing away at him. Finally Hospodar backs off and drops his gloves and ties up Nilan in close. Nilan than continues to throw some wild right hands to the head of Hospodar landing on quite a few. Hospodar has Nilan in a headlock during the second half of the fight and does not let him up from the headlock but Nilan keeps firing right hands until the refs come in and stop the fight.

Clear win for Nilan here. Hospodar protected himself pretty well with the headlock, it could have possibly been much worse if Nilan were actually seeing what he was doing.

The more I watch MOST of these youtube clips ,the MORE I'm convinced that it is the ONLY way to watch a fight and accurately review it . I guess I should cancel CenterIce and throw away all my tapes and dvds and just start reviewing off them.

SARCASM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obvious draw as Nilans punches had no effect and 4 fun rating as they weren't very sportsmanlike by not removing their helmets and saying 'excuse me' after striking each other with their fists in a possibly hurtful way .

SARCASM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
