Chris Nilan clear win Fun

Don Nachbaur goes to the net with Chris Nilan and they drop them. Nachbaur just holds onto Nilan at first but then throws one missing a right. Nilan meanwhile throws eight rights and connects with four. Nilan then changes hands and throws three lefts with one connecting as Nachbaur falls down. The linesmen come in, one grabbing Nilan who goes down to his knees. Nilan misses a left at Nachbaur who then throws three rights that miss in return. The linesmen then split the two up and send them off. Win Nilan for landing all the punches in this short but eventful fight.

Nachbaur and Nilan got into it in front of the Rangers net. They started duking it out right in the crease. Don missed with a left hook. Chris landed a partial connect and a couple of solid rights. He missed a punch and landed another solid blow. Nachbaur tried to get some rights off, but Nilan had a good grip on his arm.

There was a temporary obstructed camera angle. Nachbaur went down. It appeared that he was pulled down to the ice. Nilan may have landed a blow at the same time, but it looked like he did some aggressive jersey tugging that affected Don's balance and was at least partially responsible for Nachbaur going down.

An official got in between the two men. Chris missed a right and landed a left that appeared to connect on the groin. Nachbaur was incensed and started throwing some furious rights over the official. He threw three right hands, but each appeared to miss the mark.

I rate this as a clear win for Nilan. He landed several effective blows in the fight. It did not appear that Nachbaur landed any effective punches of his own. Don went down partially because of a loss of balance, so I would not consider this a TKO. Also, there was further action as he threw some hard rights in an attempt to get back at Chris.

Not much happening in this fight as it looks like Nachbaur slipped and went to the ice too early. When that happens the linesman jump in. Even though they are both on the ice and with the linesman intervening, they try to get some punches while laying on the ice, but that's about it. Nothing doing here.

Quick fight in front of the net. Nilan lands only punches and Nachbaur slips and falls pretty quickly. Linesmen jump in and they throw a few more punches when they're down. Narrow or clear win for Nilan.

In front of the net, Nachbaur seems to be looking for a fight since he shoves Nilan & trys to grab his head. Nilan starts swinging. He lands at least 2 or 3 facial-punches ... then the camera view is momentarily blocked ... then the next thing is that we see Nachbaur flopping down to the ice ... and the refs are there to stop it. Nachbaur never swung. Clear win for Nilan

Joe Paterson and Greg Smyth drop the gloves along the bench boards and they grab hold of each other's sweaters in close with no squareoff. Smyth misses a left and is then bent over while wrestling with Paterson. Paterson then throws seven lefts, landing four while Smyth tries to straighten up but just ends up falling to his knees. When Smyth gets up, Paterson changes hands and connects on two rights. Smyth changes hands too and lands three rights, one of them a good one which jolts Paterson's head back. Paterson misses two rights while keeping in close and Smyth misses a right before they wrestle about. Paterson takes Smyth down then and the fight is broken up by the linesmen after a long time of them wrestling on the ice. Decent tilt and a draw with Smyth landing better while Paterson landed more.

Paterson early, Smyth late. Paterson landed more while Smyth landed the best punch of the fight. I call it a draw.

Video starts with the fight in progress. Smyth actually connects with 2 punches during the fight > one seemed to hit both the forehead & part of the helmet belonging to Paterson while the other one was a good uppercut that seemed to sting Paterson since Paterson wanted to discontinue the fight because he he sort of head-butts Smyth while pushing him down to the ice. Paterson did however facially-connect on 1 full facial-punch and 1 marginal facial-punch during the fight. Thus, this fight is a draw to narrow win for Smyth.

Nachbaur and Petit had a very brief encounter. Michel had Don pinned against the boards. The officials were trying to break up the fight right away. Petit tried to get a couple of rights off, but the punches did not land. Nachbaur tried to get a right hand off, but it came nowhere near the target.

This was a boring encounter. Neither man landed a punch, so it has to be regarded as a draw. This was about as uneventful as it gets.
