Tomas Sandstrom tries to get around Peter Zezel wide, carrying the puck to the net. Zezel slashes and hooks at Sandstrom who then goes off balance while Ron Hextall comes out and challenges Sandstrom who loses the puck. Zezel tries to avoid hitting Hextal and jumps over him but then hits the ice and goes head-first into the boards. Zezel stays down for a little bit but then gets up and goes off with a trainer. Emotion

Chris Nilan narrow win Fun
4
Jeff Chychrun touches up for icing and then Chris Nilan drop the gloves with the bigger Terry Carkner. They start wrestling at the beginning and Nilan misses a right before Carkner misses a right. Carkner then misses two rights and they keep on wrestling. After a while Nilan is able to get his right hand free and throws four rights, connecting twice. Carkner misses two rights then Nilan lands a right and gets rid of Carkner's helmet. They wrestle momentarily and Carkner switches to the left hand. Carkner throws two lefts and lands one as Nilan throws two rights and lands one. They wrestle and Nilan connects on a right. The linesmen come in after some more wrestling and Nilan falls down. The tilt was mostly wrestling so it wasn't good. The win goes to Nilan for landing more and better.

They fought behind the Flyers goal. Lot of wrestling, but both snuck in some punches and about the same amount. I would say the fight was a draw until Nilan landed a nice right near the end, giving him the edge in this bout.

Rudy Poeschek clear win Fun

They shed the mitts and immediately get ahold of each other. Rudy throws the first flurry of 4 rights, the first 3 land directly to the face with the 4th going to the back of the shoulder. The flurry forces Chychrun to get a hug going on Rudy to slow him down, bumping off his lid the process - not from a punch. They seperate out and each start throwing the right; Chychrun throws 3 rights - the first two missing and the last one landing with no damage. Rudy throws 4 rights, the first one misses, the next two land to the jaw and the last one goes behind Cychrun. Jeff bends over or is forced over from Poeschek, who then begins feeding Chychrun 3 right handed uppercuts and then pulls him down to the ice, forcing the linesman to seperate them and put an end to the fight.

Poeschek lands four rights while Chychrun tries to get a grip. Chychrun lands two rights, but Poeschek lands a better one. Poeschek throws a couple uppercuts and down they go.

Nice fight where Poechek throws the more punches and hits well with some of them. Chychrun lets a few go but not any bombs...

Chychrun got in a couple quick shots at the start, but after that it was all Poeschek who landed some nice rights and got Chychrun down. Win Rudy.

Youtube clip which is posted here, is incomplete and misses the beginning of the scrap where they both landed a couple punches. Anyway the two dropped the gloves and started to wrestle. Nilan then started throwing and landed two rights. Brown responded quickly with lefts and landed two of his own. They went back to the wrestling, the two wrestled for some time and Nilan threw a few harmless lefts that all missed. Nilan threw a few more lefts that missed and Brown threw one left that didn't land. Nilan switched to the right while Brown had his left hand stuck in his jersey, Nilan threw five and landed two to the side of Brown's head. After that the two wrestled to the ice and linesmen got in. Nilan definitely was more active and he landed 4 against Brown's 2. Narrow win for Nilan.

Total shit fight here. Don't understand the few that called this a win for Nilan. They start out with a total wrestling match here, with both trying to break free and land something... ANYTHING for that matter. Nothing clearly lands from either one so I say draw. What a garbage fight this was...
