Chris Nilan and Gary Nylund drop the gloves and lock up. Nilan gets off a few rights, but Nylund comes back with a few more. Nylund continues to throw, before landing a few to the back of Nilan's head.
This fight was pretty active and Nilan begins to takeover the fight mid-way through. He gets his right loose and begins to land. He is able to connect with a good uppercut during this flurry. Nylund attempts to return fire but comes up short as Nilan has a good hold of his right. Nilan continues to throw rights and is able to connect with another good uppercut near the end. They then hold each other off until the linesmen come in and end it.
Narrow win for Chris Nilan. Nylund started off well, but quickly faded as Nilan took over the fight. |

| Good fight. Best to divide this fight into stages. Stage 1 --They each trade punches in the beginning > nylund connects on 3 while nilan connects on 2, both guys using side-arm punches. Stage 2 -- Nilan than periodically facially connects on uppercuts which makes the momentum shift in nilan's direction because nylund slows down on the amount of his own connected punches to where he's not even throwing punches anylonger. During stage 2, Nilan scores with 4 great uppercuts that sent nylund's head bopping up & down like one of those bobbin'-head dolls seen in cars. Narrow to clear win for nilan. |
