Mark Hunter clear win Fun

Both players awaiting the face-off & camera gets there when they start to go. Hunter was all over Richard with left hands and threw several unappealing shots before they fell to the ice. Very short fight but a decisive win for Hunter.

Brubaker & Pichette bumped along the boards. Players all congregated and Weir & Brubaker squared off with Weir getting the quick takedown in an otherwise uneventful Round 1. As that is happening Langway & Pichette have a bear-hug on one another but both keep their gloves on knowing the 10-minute misconduct rule that will be enforced if their mitts hit the ice. Nilan then starts to go with Hickey & this was a wrestling match as Nilan lands on top of Hickey and attempts to throw a punch while their both down. Weir, whose being held by the linesman, then tries to get in to help Hickey. Meanwhile, Acton throws a feather shot punch at Tardif who proceeds to push Acton down to the ice. Nilan & Hickey now get up off the ice and Nilan throws a couple shots at Hickey. Hamel on the Nordiques tries to get into help but Acton steers him away and lands right on his ass again. Both Brubaker & Weir -- the initial combatants are still being held by the linesman -- then the camera switches to the other side of the rink where Langway has just taken down Pichette and holds him there. The players then spill over to the other side of the rink. Weir is really manhandling the linesman as he tries to get into the Langway-Pichette battle. Hickey then gets a hold of Langway and right at that time, out of nowhere, Nilan suckers Hickey from the side. Hamel then tackles Nilan. By now Pichette & Langway are separated & back on their feet. Pichette challenges Langway who obliges and Pichette holds up his fists for Round 2. Langway says something and they skate around for several seconds. You could tell Langway wasn't too interested but finally the linesman intervened before they got started. The announcer was right on when he said that Langway didn't want to engage as he was valuable to the team & knew he'd most likely get additional penalty time if he fought. Fun

From out of a brawl, nilan & hickey are tangling. Their wrestling causes them to fall to the ice. They both get up and as they're embracing, nilan throws a couple of punches. A long pause as the other pair-offs are wrestling. Hickey then separates from nilan only to get involved with the aftermath of langway & pichette. Nilan then opens up with a surprise punch against hickey that connects.

With the game out of reach, Nilan went in high with an elbow & Paiement shedded his mitts and tackled him onto the ice. The linesman let them get up & Nilan tried to throw a right & Paiement tried to do the same but both had each others arms tied up. Paiement seemed like he wanted more (most likely because of Nilan's cheap shot sucker punch on Hickey during the line brawl earlier in the game) but both players had their arms tied up pretty good. A draw in a boring fight but a solid fight-filled game nonetheless.
