SarcasticPillow 11257 fight reviews Jul 11, 2009 14:03 ET | John Kordic clear win | Fun 8 |
Heavyweights, Tim Hunter and John Kordic drop the gloves and get a grip of each other right away, Kordic with the right and Hunter with the left. Hunter misses two rights while Kordic throws four lefts and lands two that rock Hunter who becomes inactive. Kordic starts to pepper Hunter with lefts, six in all, three landing. They pause and then Kordic throws three lefts and connects with one while Hunter is ducking. Hunter gets his head back up, switches hands, and misses a left while standing back from Kordic who then misses a left. Hunter misses a left and Kordic throws three lefts and lands one. They trade two lefts back and forth, neither is able to connect. Hunter misses an extra left and then they get in close and wrestle. Hunter switches hands and stands back just a little and Kordic also switches hands. Hunter misses a right, locked out well by Kordic who connects on a right. Hunter throws two rights and lands one and Kordic misses a right. Hunter stands back more so and misses again with right and Kordic misses a right. Then Hunter throws two rights and lands one, getting in closer to Kordic. Hunter misses a right and they start to grapple. Hunter switches hands and throws three lefts with two connecting, one catching Kordic nicely. Kordic switches hands and misses a left but switches hands immediately after. Hunter misses a left, then Kordic lands a right, stunning Hunter as Hunter lands a left. Kordic switches hands and they pause for a bit, then Hunter misses a left and Kordic misses a left. Kordic misses a flurry of three lefts and the linesmen split them up. Good, long, fight, both were active. Clear win Kordic, landed more and better.

Phenomenal fight between two guys not afraid to stand in there and trade punches. Kordic starts out just hammering Hunter with an untold number of unanswered lefts. Amazingly, Hunter recovers and turns the second half of the fight into a classic slugfest, with each landing some serious shots. Great fight, I give the edge to Kordic for the early domination but full credit to Hunter for withstanding it and turning it into a classic battle.

Kordic uncoils a series of big overhand lefts leaving Hunter in a bit of a drunken stuper. Hunter recovers a little, but can't regain momentum.

In the beginning, Kordic unloads his patented gatling-gun punches on hunter and i think there was a shot that caught hunter on that big beak of his, lol. I believe hunter was dazed by this but then Hunter re-grouped his composure and came back at kordic with some of his slow-motion-type punches (although effective) during the 2nd half of the fight.

Kordic dominated Hunter early, by hammering him with lefts. Then Hunter came back with a few of his own. Gotta give the edge to Kordic in this marathon fight for the damage he did at the beginning.

Kordic starts fast landing several lefts snapping Hunters head back twice, Hunter shows a great chin and tons of guts by coming back strong but Kordic gets the edge for the early domminace.
